CC Africa's (then Conservation Corporation Africa) dream of extending Africa's green frontier began 1991, by developing and sustaining wildlife sanctuaries across the continent and inviting the world to share in this dream. We have created a portfolio of the continent's finest small, elegant safari lodges and camps, set against some of the world's most awe-inspiring backdrops. CC Africa actively pioneers self-sustaining conservation projects with a view towards the establishment of transfrontier mega-parks. Our projects include in-depth, protracted field research, observation and publication, and in several cases, the reintroduction and re-establishment of endangered wildlife populations. We engage in uplifting and developing synergistic partnerships with rural communities, promote interactive eco-education of children and stimulate cross-cultural learning. We also develop film and multimedia opportunities, disseminating visuals and information on Africa globally.

We currently employ and continuously train more than 3 000 people on a permanent basis, in turn supporting more than 20 000 people in rural Africa.

CC Africa (previously Conservation Corporation Africa), was founded in 1991, formalising the vision to harness international investment capital for the development of Africa's wildlife areas. We were involved in a merger with Afro Ventures and Into Africa in February 2000. The merged company forms one of Africa's most comprehensive tourism companies. We combine the strength of our lodge portfolio with a large trip operating and mobile safari division (Afro Ventures) and our destination management specialist, Into Africa.
