SAFARI LODGES AT MATETSI, ZIMBABWE
Situated just 40 kilometres upstream from the magnificent Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, Matetsi extends over 45 000 hectares (111 200 acres) of pristine African wilderness – the largest private wildlife concession in the country. With 15 kilometres (nine miles) of exclusive Zambezi River frontage, Matetsi offers an unrivalled river experience in addition to spectacular game viewing and birdwatching.
World-renowned as one of Africa’s most unforgettable natural retreats,
Matetsi is a conservation coup for CC Africa who transformed the area – previously a hunting concession – into a protected wilderness reserve. Today, the lush banks of the Zambezi River boast a remarkable array of African wildlife – including huge elephant and buffalo herds, and rare roan and sable antelope.

"... my wife and I just arrived back home after an amazing 3 night stay at your Matetsi Water Lodge. We honestly have no words with which to express the impact, education, and sheer fun we had. The accommodations were amazing, the wildlife was spectacular, and yet those could not beat the service we received. From one amazing meal after another, to every detail being looked after, and then a romantic surprise arranged in celebration of our anniversary, the staff was the among the most competent I have encountered at any luxury resort and by far the kindest and most sincere. We would like to extend a special thank you to John and Vivian who took care of us as royalty at the North Water Camp and Mischek our guide, who was a blast to be around day and night, found spectacular animals to view, and always made us feel safe...
Our perspectives on wildlife and Africa were changed forever.
