Day and night safaris in open safari vehicles are led by experienced
rangers and guides. These expeditions venture into the Serengeti, where
you are guaranteed the thrill of elephants browsing just a few feet
from the vehicle or marching through the savannah woodlands along the
Grumeti River near the camp.
Klein's
Camp offers the best of both worlds - the night drives, off road driving
and game walks of a private concession combined with game viewing in
the game-rich Serengeti.

Aside
from game viewing the guided walks also offer the opportunity to learn
about Maasai medicines made from trees, plants and seeds. Interpretive
bush walks lead to the Kuka Hills, providing an opportunity for fine
sightings of the magnificent Black Eagle, to mention just one of the
astounding 350 bird species that frequent the area around the camp.
Afternoon
guided walks up and along the quartzite hills end with sundowners being
served on the crest of a hill. These spectacular sundowners, with views
all the way across the northern Serengeti, set the mood for sumptuous
evening meals.

Community involvement is a very important element of Klein's operations.
CC Africa recently reached an agreement with the local Olosokwan community
that secures the camp's tenure. The community has also opened their
manyatta (homestead) to the CC Africa guests, offering a rare
insight into the ancient customs of tribal life.
Bush
breakfasts at beautiful locations are a delicious way to end a morning
game drive. We offer sundowners up on the quartzite hills. We are also
happy to arrange private dinners.

Indoors, you can browse through a carefully selected collection of wildlife
books, magazines and videos.
