There are daily scheduled flights from Port Elizabeth Airport to Durban International Airport, followed by a four-hour chauffeur-driven road transfer to Phinda. Federal Air operates a daily flight from Johannesburg International Airport (JNB) directly to Phinda airstrip. Daily SA Express scheduled flights from JNB to Richards Bay Airport are available, followed by a two-hour road or 20-minute light-aircraft transfer to camp. There are daily scheduled flights from Port Elizabeth Airport to Johannesburg International Airport (JNB). Federal Air operates a daily flight from JNB to Ngala private airstrip. Daily SA Express scheduled flights from JNB and Cape Town International Airport via Sun City to Eastgate Airport, followed by a one-hour road transfer. SA Express offer daily scheduled flights from JNB to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA), followed by a 30-minute light aircraft transfer to Ngala private airstrip. Ngala is accessible for self-drive guests by two-wheel drive vehicle on excellent roads. Driving time from Johannesburg is five-and-a-half hours.

Bongani Mountain Lodge in Mpumalanga
There are daily scheduled flights from Johannesburg International Airport (JNB) to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMIA) in Nelspruit. Bongani will arrange transfers for guests to and from KMIA (approximately 45 minutes to Bongani’s gate). It is possible to self-drive from Johannesburg. Driving time is approximately four-and-a-half hours on excellent roads to Bongani’s secure car park. The Lodge operates scheduled transfers from the car park at 12:00, 14:00 and 16:00 daily.

Madikwe Safari Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve
From Kwandwe, it is a two-hour chauffeur-driven road transfer to Port Elizabeth’s national airport. There are daily scheduled flights from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg International Airport (JIA). Madikwe Safari Lodge is an easy 4.5-hour drive from JIA on good roads. Chauffeured transfers are available. There are daily FedAir flights from JIA to Madikwe Airstrip, departing at 12h00 and returning at 13h30. There are also daily scheduled flights from JIA to Pilanesberg Airport (Sun City), followed by a 2-hour road trip to the Lodge. Private charters are available on request.
