| A: | Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is easily accessible by daily scheduled flights or private charter to Manyara airstrip, followed by a leisurely 2.5-hour game drive to the Lodge. We can pre-book and package all of your regional/internal flights and transfers, and provide a meet and greet service at all airports.
- There are daily international flights from Europe and South Africa to Nairobi, Dar Es Salaam and Kilimanjaro International Airports
- Daily scheduled flights from Arusha Airport to Manyara airstrip
- The road between Arusha and Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is in excellent condition and a road transfer from Arusha to the Park gates is only 1.5 hours

| A: | All CC Africa lodges are world-renowned for their delicious Pan-African cuisine – fresh ingredients, simply prepared with an African flavour.

| Q: | Do you cater for specific diets? |
| A: | Yes, all halaal and vegetarian dietary requirements will be catered for. When making your reservation, please advise us of any specific dietary requirements that you may have, and these will be communicated immediately to the Lodge. Should specific items need to be flown in, there will be an additional charge, which will be quoted separately. Regrettably, we are unable to cater for strictly kosher guests at Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. |

| Q: | Will I be safe? |
| A: | Guest safety is of paramount importance – Askaris (Maasai warriors) monitor animal activity within the Lodge areas, and escort guests to/from their tree-house suites (especially between dusk and dawn). |

| Q: | What kind of medical precautions do I need to take? |
| A: | Please consult your physician or health department for the latest health and anti-malarial precautions. Some countries require advance inoculations (and certificates thereof) – we will advise you of these.

| Q: | How is emergency medical cover and travel insurance arranged? |
| A: | Emergency medical evacuation insurance is included in the rate at all CC Africa lodges. This guarantees all reasonable, practical assistance in obtaining primary or emergency medical services for an insured person who suffers illness or injury. Please note that this is evacuation insurance only and does not replace normal travel insurance. Trained first-aiders are on standby at the Lodge at all times, and emergency evacuation by air is available. The Lodge is two hours away from the nearest airstrip and the nearest fully equipped hospital is in Nairobi. |

| Q: | Which are the best months to visit Lake Manyara Tree Lodge? |
| A: | Lake Manyara has a warm to hot climate year round due to its altitude and close proximity to the equator. Minimum temperatures are 15°C/59°F to maximum 40°C/104°F, and the heat reaches its peak in the dry months of January and February. Superb game-viewing is offered throughout the year but is at its peak from December to February and from August to September.

| A: | There are two rainy seasons with the so-called short rains being from November to December and the long rains from March to May.
