The Savute is renowned for its predator interaction, especially between lion and hyena. It offers some of the biggest lion prides in Botswana and sightings of the elusive wild dog and leopard are not uncommon. In the dry season, guests have the opportunity to view large elephant bulls congregating by a waterhole in search of a thirst-quenching drink (and the occasional mud bath). Visitors can bear witness to the awe-inspiring spectacle of the annual zebra migration in October, November and again in March and April.
